Trapping Party events are scheduled on the second Friday and Saturday of each month, and throughout the year we have site maintenance work meetings.
Some months we enjoy a “Rocky Mountain College” on the Friday night preceding our Saturday shoot event. Here we camp, enjoy a pot-luck dinner, have a history presentation and are taught a craft.
Our monthly shoot event is on Saturday and is divisional with a Men’s, Women’s and Junior division in Rifle & Pistol – with Knife & Hawk/Archery every other month.
We have several specialty shoots throughout the year and we invite other clubs/buckskinners to join us.We have a “Shooter of the Month” award which is awarded each month to the overall high scorer at the monthly shoot in Shooting and Archery and then this group of Buckskinners competes in yearly “Shooter of the Year”/“Archer of the Year” events.
